Hey guys. Ruggedman here and I’ve got great news. On Monday, February 24 2020, I am going to part of a panel at Social Media Week in Lagos, Nigeria. The topic, Social Media War – Dreads, Tattoos and Passwords.
Now I know for a while now there’s been a lot of commotion in the news, especially with young creatives getting harassed because of the way they look or sound. Believe me, it’s not fun. Sad thing is, it’s not just people in uniform that do it, even on the internet, creatives get called names and such.
So I’m thinking, like really, is there any law that says we have to look or be a certain way to “blend in” or is this just everyday people looking for new reasons to harass other people? Is there any justification for any of this?
But don’t say I told you so. Come join the discussion at Social Media Week. Registration is still on so you best get your spot now and avoid the rush on D-Day. Follow the link below, it’s super easy. And I’ll see ya’ll on the 24th.
Ruggedman…out.
